New metal Additive Manufacturing technology

Metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) machine producer Incus GmbH will launch its new metal 3D-printing system at Formnext 2019. The company’s Hammer Series machine works with a technology using photopolymerisation for the printing of highly complex metal components.

The new Incus metal AM technology unites excellent surface aesthetics and fine structures with cost-efficiency, reproducibility and increased manufacturing speed. The process enhances the safety of the working environment via use of a feedstock and eliminates the need to invest in protective gas atmosphere solutions. The process can be applied to a wide range of metal materials, from iron-based alloys and precious metals to hard and heavy metal alloys. Furthermore, it offers reproducibility without elaborate process parameters and a user friendly workflow.

Incus evolved from the world’s number one ceramic AM company, Lithoz GmbH, with the goal of becoming a leader in the metal printing industry. CEO Dr. Gerald Mitteramskogler and his team of creative experts are focused on service orientation, partnership and quality.

“We are excited to be exhibiting our machine at Formnext and to present our technology to the industry. We are looking forward to meeting prospective partners and customers who are looking to bring their production to the next level,” commented Dr. Mitteramskogler.

Incus will present its Hammer Series machine and technology at Stand D32 in Hall 11.1 at Formnext 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany.
